Hi Stinger has been shedding so much this month. I had to take him to the groomer. They gave his a good bath and trim. The groomer could not get over how much he was/is shedding. She was stumped. So I went out and bought this liquid called. 'NUTRICOAT: it is a skin & coat therapy liquid that you put in the dog food or water. It is to help prevent shedding, scratching, dull coat & flaking. I will tell this this. It works GREYT! I used it that same day. And his shedding is a lot better. With one treatment. I highly recommend this if you are having issue with shedding.
PS I also highly recommend you do not use human head and shoulder shampoo on your greyhound. Granted it is too keep the skitters away. This will dull the coat and make them shed more. I believe this what went wrong with Stinger coat. I had no clue How sensitive the greyhound skin/coat is. LESSON LEARNED.
My dogs get vaccumed with the upholstery brush. Ryce use to LOVE it. Gus likes it. Bella is a little leary of it but seems to be warming up to it. It sure has cut down on the hair around the house.

did you say vaccumed with the upholstery brush And likes it Wow. Stinger hates the vacume. Too funny.
Wendy, I am one with my vaccum cleaner. With three dogs and a very messy parrot in the house I would be carried away by the fur and feathers. The hounds got use to it quickly. Ryce was too lazy to get up and move out of the way so I just strarted vaccuming him too. Bo and Jim use to line up for it. Jim would actually follow me and the vaccum cleaner around until I would give in. My mothers dogs all loved the upholstery brush. Maybe its a family thing?
