Tonight Morgan and Neba will be competing in the Agility with the Dog Cookie contest following. Wednesday evening, they will be competing in either basic obedience on leash or showmanship and Oreo and I will be doing both basic obedience (unless it's really, really hot out) and showmanship. Then Saturday Neba has to go back for the Clover Kids Pet Show. I hope Morgan gets lots of ribbons this year.
Ok, tonight's update. The evening started out good with Morgan and Neba having 2 good runs at the agility. Then came the dog cookie contest and with it disaster. The dogs were all lined up with their plates of cookies and the dog next to Neba attacked her and bit her on the face!! Neba is at the vets right now after having 2 stitches put in her pretty face. I don't know how the cookie contest turned out because after I called the vet I took Neba right over. I can't wait to catch up with that girl's parents. It's gonna cost a fortune- emergency vet call, anesthesia, stitches, one night of board, antibiotics. On the up side, Morgan (along with almost everyone else) brought home a blue ribbon!
Neba's fine after the visit to the vet (see thread about should they pay?). As for the cookies, I have no idea. I was told that "a well known family in town" had won. After tonight, I don't really even care.

I'm sorry for being this way, this whole Fair thing has got me wayyyyyyyyy down this year. I'm almost to the point of selling our armband certificates and seeing if I can pull our entries early, come home and not go back. Ever.

Thanks. It doesn't help that I'm in sort of a hole right now anyway. I'll try! Tonight Morgan and I went to the fair, got her her wristband for the rides, she rode on a few of the rides, I decided I wanted to go inside for a minute, then we went to the small animal barn, then the cow barn, then it started to pour big time. It's still really raining now. We are under a sever thunderstom watch until almost midnight. I did order a Greyhound cookie cutter, though! Morgan and I shared a funnel cake, too.
